Get Popped Terms & Conditions

1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Get Popped. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Bookings & Payment
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date and time.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any additional guests, upgrades, travel fees, studio assistant fees, venue upgrades, or other optional extras added after booking may be invoiced separately or added to the final balance.
Bookings may be cancelled if payment is not received by the due date.
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers may apply where disclosed during the booking process.
3. Group Size
Each package is designed for a maximum number of participants.
Additional guests may only be added by prior agreement and may incur additional charges.
We reserve the right to refuse participation where guest numbers exceed the agreed package limits.
4. Song Selection
All groups must select a song from the current Get Popped song list.
Song selections must be confirmed no later than 14 days before the booking date.
Original songs are not currently available as part of the Get Popped experience.
Get Popped reserves the right to decline song requests outside of the approved song list.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable.
Bookings may be rescheduled once without charge provided at least 14 days' notice is given and an alternative date is available.
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. While deposits are non-refundable, no further payments will be required for cancelled bookings where the final balance has not yet been paid.
Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the event may be subject to availability.
If Get Popped is unable to deliver the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund of any payments made.
Any approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
6. Recording & Deliverables
Each booking includes a professionally mixed recording of the selected song.
Delivery times may vary, however we aim to provide completed recordings within a few days of the event.
Get Popped reserves the right to make reasonable creative and technical decisions during the editing and mixing process.
7. Usage Rights
The recordings supplied by Get Popped are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Customers wishing to distribute, publish, monetise, commercially exploit, or otherwise release recordings beyond personal use must obtain any required licences and permissions from the relevant rights holders or licensing bodies before doing so.
Recordings may not be uploaded to commercial streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, or similar services.
8. Photography & Social Media
Guests are welcome to take photos and videos during their session.
Adult events
Get Popped may capture photographs and short video clips during sessions for promotional, marketing and website purposes.
By making a booking, the booking organiser confirms they have informed participants that photography and videography may occur during the experience.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or video content should notify Get Popped before or at the commencement of the session and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Get Popped will not publish raw singing recordings or identifiable audio performances without obtaining additional permission from the participant(s).
Junior Pop Parties (under 16)
No photos or videos used for marketing.
No recordings shared publicly.
All recordings supplied only to the booking customer.
9. Venue Requirements (House Party & Junior Pop Party)
The host is responsible for providing:
Access to power
A table or suitable workspace
A reasonably quiet recording area
Get Popped reserves the right to modify or pause a recording session if the environment is unsuitable for recording.
10. Alcohol
Alcohol is not supplied as part of any Get Popped package.
Alcohol may only be permitted at approved venues and by prior agreement.
Guests are responsible for complying with all venue rules and applicable laws.
11. Behaviour & Safety
Get Popped is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participants, staff, venue partners, and guests.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others and to follow any reasonable instructions provided by Get Popped staff during the session.
Guests must not attend a session in a state of intoxication or under the influence of illegal substances. Get Popped reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, or inappropriate.
If, in the reasonable opinion of Get Popped staff, the behaviour of any participant creates an unsafe environment, causes damage to equipment or property, or prevents the session from operating as intended, Get Popped reserves the right to suspend or terminate the session immediately.
In these circumstances, no refund will be provided for any unused portion of the session.
Get Popped reserves the right to remove participants from a session where necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of staff, venue personnel, guests, and other participants.
