Terms and conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon receipt of invoice to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session date.

  • Please include your invoice number and name as the payment reference.

  • In the event of default or late payment, the client will be liable for any costs associated with recovering the amount owed.

  • The final song recording is for personal use only and may not be uploaded, distributed, or monetised on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or similar services.

Copyright and licensing

  • All backing tracks and instrumental versions used during recording sessions at Get Popped remain the property of their respective copyright owners and have been licensed for use in a private, non-commercial context only.

  • Participants record vocals over these tracks for their personal enjoyment. The resulting recordings are delivered to participants and are not authorised for upload, broadcast, distribution, or commercial use on streaming platforms, or publicly share the full recording online.

  • Get Popped does not acquire any rights to the underlying musical compositions or recordings. By booking a session, participants acknowledge that they are receiving a private experience only and are not obtaining any copyrights, publishing, or master rights.

  • If you wish to use any track recorded at Get Popped for public performance, streaming, or commercial release, you must obtain the necessary licences from rights holders and notify Get Popped in advance.

  • Any sessions facilitated by Get Popped that involve original compositions will be subject to separate agreements and rights-clearance, arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Session Details & Conduct

  • Sessions typically run for 1–1.5 hours. Dan will guide you through the recording process to ensure you have a fun and relaxed experience.

  • Our standard party package comfortably fits up to 5 singers and 1 spectator. Larger groups must be arranged in advance and included in your quote. Unapproved extra guests may result in cancellation.

  • No loitering outside studios — we operate in professional, shared environments across Central Auckland.

  • Please do not arrive intoxicated. We reserve the right to end any booking due to inappropriate or unsafe behaviour.

  • Be respectful of the studio environment, staff, and other clients using the premises.

  • Children under 14 must have at least one guardian present at all times.

By booking, you agree to these terms and to respect the professional studio environment during your session.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • To maintain the quality and exclusivity of our studio experiences, we operate a strict cancellation policy.

  • Bookings cancelled 7 or more days prior to the scheduled date may be refunded or rescheduled at no charge.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are non-refundable, however, a one-time reschedule may be offered at our discretion.

  • Should Get Popped be required to cancel or amend your booking, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

Get Popped Christmas Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter: Get Popped 

 

2. Eligibility: Open to New Zealand residents aged 18 or over. Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Get Popped are not eligible.

3. How to Enter:

  • Like the competition post on Instagram.

  • Comment why your team deserves to win their own Get Popped experience.

  • Make sure you’re following @getpopped.nz on Instagram.

  • Bonus entries may be awarded for tagging friends, but this is optional.

 

4. Competition Period: Entries close 6:00PM (NZT) on Thursday, 31 October 2025. The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries and notified via Instagram DM by @getpopped.nz within 48 hours of closing.

5. Prize: One Get Popped Studio Party Package valued at $350 + GST, redeemable for up to 5 participants plus one spectator. The prize value may be applied toward a bespoke package of higher value. Prize must be redeemed by 31 January 2026.

6. General Conditions:

  • Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

  • The winner must arrange their own transport to and from the Central Auckland studio.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 days, the prize may be redrawn.

  • We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to amend or cancel the giveaway if necessary.
